So here it is, my first blog sale. As a makeup artist I accumulate alot of products which end up used once or just put into storage. Thing is I'm running out of space and need the cash to buy new things. Would you be interested in a Jewellery or fashion sale also as I have loads of stuff and would save me going to a carboot?

August Empties: the Good and Bad

Hello September! You snuck up on us didn't you?!

The shops are already stocking up on Christmas stock if you can believe it? Is it just me or does this happen earlier and earlier every year? Debenhams and Boots are about to put their gift sets on the shelves and the seasonal isles in supermarkets are stocking those diet busting sweet tins. I'm no scrooge by any means but for me Summer isn't over yet; I'm not ready to cover up my legs or put away my summer scents.

It's been several months since I've written an empties post. It's not because I forgot, it's because I haven't used enough for it to be worth mentioning. You see 2 months ago I moved house and I had to throw away all my empties. I'm not one for using products up quickly so I've just been putting a collection together to blog about. So you could say this is June/July empties I guess.

New Nail Wraps by Avon review

One word describes the new nail wraps by Avon, stylish! Avon have really come up trumps this time and are bang on trend with 10 graphic and blinged nail wraps. I bought these 6 weeks before the public could get their hands on them and everyone said how beautiful my nails were. They are half price on introduction at just £4. My favourite are the Hot Pink Bling wraps as they are so pretty! There are also zebra print, racy lacy, mosaic, bows for you plus many other statement designs. 

Avon Perfect Kiss Lipsticks

Over the past 2 weeks I have been taking these 2 lipsticks from Avon's Perfect Kiss range to parties I've been hosting and the response I got from them were amazing. Those who know me well know I don't wear lipstick, "My lips are to small" I tell everyone. Plus I drink way too much cola which dries out my lips. I know I should stop but I think I'm an addict now :P Anyway this means I always have to use a lip balm to stop them drying out.

 

Avon makeup and perfume haul

 

My return to Avon can only mean one thing lots of reviews :D I just had to buy lots of their new spring makeup and perfume to try. I was so excited when I received my order and oh my isn't it pretty?! I could burst there's so much pink ✿ The first thing I noticed was the new look brochure. It's smaller and in landscape instead of the classic portrait style. I think this was the trial version as the next 2 brochures are in portrait again. I do hope it comes back in this style as it looks so modern and much more appealing. Avon PLEASE can you make every brochure this PINK ❤

My first Avon get together

Now that I'm back as an Avon Recruiter/Party Planner (update 14/10/13 I am no longer) I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. I threw a party for my friends and family the other night and we had so much fun!

Marie Claire June Avon freebies

 There have been some amazing free products with this months magazines and unfortunately I can't afford them all. I choose Marie Claire this month for it's free Avon products. I adore Avon and can't get enough of the quality + the price! February Skincare Empties

 

Where did February go?? It's such a short month isn't it? I have surprised myself at how many products I've finished in such a short time. One of these products has actually lasted me 2 months, maybe longer, can you guess which one? I'll let you think about it for awhile.

 

It's been a great month, I've gained new followers and new friends. My social life went BANG! Out atleast twice a week and I'm off out again tonight. Stuart is probably wondering if he even has a girlfriend bless. I start my course on Monday, I'm so excited I could burst!! How to use Models Own Glitter Magenta Divine

 

Glitter nails were all the rage at Christmas, full on in your face glitter. The kind that didn't come off, layer upon layer of glitter. I tried that look once and decided not to do it ever again. Opting for a more classic polished nail. I hate to waste things though, especially when something is as pretty as this Models Own glitter polish. Honestly, before today it was still sealed. I bought it in December at the Clothes Show so I could get a free goody bag. I love pink! Hot, soft, salmon, coral, any shade of pink and I'll wear it. I haven't done a nail post in awhile so thought I'd throw something together and see what happened.

January Empties: Products I've used

 

 January has finally come to a close and my bank balance is now looking much healthier, 5 weeks without money is a bloody long time. I've been living on my products from my Christmas presents this month. This is my first empties post. Surprising really as empty posts seem to be very popular within the beauty blogging community.

Christmas Eve Nails

It's Christmas Eve! *dances* For someone who wasn't really doing Xmas this year due to money problems I'm actually quite excited :D I'm looking after my partner today as he has my terrible cold. He's snuggled up in bed with soup and the cat. I'm watching The Santa Claus and eating cheese on crackers.

I'm a bit naughty when it comes to perfumes. I have a tendency to buy purely based on the cute bottles. I'm a sucker for anything pink naturally. I've even started collecting vintage perfume bottles. I keep my eyes peeled for anything classic, like the perfumes that use to sit on my Nanna's vanity table.

Review: Avon Strictly Dancing Perfume

If your a fan of the sequins and glamour of Strictly you'll be more than happy to be switching off Xfactor and turning over to BBC ONE to watch Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday nights at 6:30pm. To coincide with the new series Strictly has collaborated with AVON to bring out two unique fragrances. The only perfumes to capture the essence of the show. As an Avon Sales Leader I was fortunate enough to be given both fragrances FREE by AVON when I visited their annual conference this August. The event was held at the Hilton Metropolis in Birmingham with guest singer and speaker Alesha Dixon.

 

This pale pink bottle is a beauty to look at which is apt considering it's name, Strictly Come Dancing Ballroom Beauty. The scent is described as ‘beautiful combination of luscious raspberry, feminine pink rose petals and sensual amber. I find this a sickly sweet smell and more tailored to the feminine woman for an everyday use.
