I am a huge lover of anything vintage that was made locally in my home city, Norwich. A few years ago I went to my first flea market and came across a 1950/60's handbag & fell in love. I bought it for £10 and it wasn't until I got it home and had a good look inside that I saw the label.

NIP+FAB Mango Smoothie body butter review
My first review of a NIP+FAB product :D This one came from my April Glossy Box and I have been slathering it on. It has the most amazing smell and leaves me feeling oh so clean, soft and ready for the day. I wouldn't normally use such a sweet smelling body butter but this one has got me hooked. I get quite dry skin on my upper arms and legs and this really works a treat.

Avon makeup and perfume haul
My return to Avon can only mean one thing lots of reviews :D I just had to buy lots of their new spring makeup and perfume to try. I was so excited when I received my order and oh my isn't it pretty?! I could burst there's so much pink ✿ The first thing I noticed was the new look brochure. It's smaller and in landscape instead of the classic portrait style. I think this was the trial version as the next 2 brochures are in portrait again. I do hope it comes back in this style as it looks so modern and much more appealing. Avon PLEASE can you make every brochure this PINK ❤

My first Avon get together
Now that I'm back as an Avon Recruiter/Party Planner (update 14/10/13 I am no longer) I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. I threw a party for my friends and family the other night and we had so much fun!

Home DIY Curtain rail - saving money
A very different post for you today. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but for those of you who like DIY and like me are forever trying to find ways to save a bit of money I hope you'll like it. As myself and Stu have moved into someone else's home, long story short we are only here for about a year, I didn't want to make too many changes. Plus we are here to try and save money so we can eventually get our own place.

Benefit POREfessional - it's about Prime!
Any new readers coming to my blog right now will think I have an infatuation with Benefit. I won't apologise for all the reviews of this brand as I just adore it. I'm using a lot of their products lately. The brand is so cute and all the vintage inspired female drawing they use are right up my street.

Benefit they're Real! mascara reviewed
If I had a pound for every time I've heard about this mascara I'd be rich! In fact it's so incredibly popular that's it's the UK's No.1 Bestselling Mascara. I have naturally long lashes so find most mascaras just thicken rather than lengthen them I was hesitant to spend £19.50 on a product which I thought would do the same job. But O..M..G does this live up to the hype! I was over the moon with the results and haven't stopped using it. I slather this all over my lashes for every event and it's become a staple in my makeup bag.
The blurb - Why we love it
They're real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates. Our jet black, long-wearing formula won’t smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!
What else you need to know:
- 94% saw dramatic length & volume**
- 90% saw base-to-tip curl**
- 94% saw visible lift* 100% saw long-wearing results**
- 100% saw long-wearing results**
**Results observed in a consumer panel survey
The unique brush tip has been a godsend. I like to use the tip to get into the corners and separate them to their full potential. No more buying separate mascaras for different uses: lengthen, separate, curl, smudge-proof and volume all rolled into one! When you think about it it's actually a bargain! I'd normally spend between £6-£10 on one mascara and if I wanted one that done each of these it would end up costing me near on £50. Oh and did I mention it lasts ages? I had to use makeup remover to get it off as it wouldn't budge without :D a bonus in my books.
So if you haven't bought this already it's time to head to your nearest Benefit counter. Mine was in Debenhams, Norwich. You can buy yours online from http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/ xo

UPDATE 21/09/2013
I have been wearing this mascara for some time now and can say this is most definitely the best mascara by far. It seperates my lashes like no other and doesn't look clumpy. I haven't been able to find a darker mascara either. The only down side? It has a tendency to smear under my eyes when I'm wearing a concealer. I feel it may be the moisturising properties the of concealer which makes the mascara on my bottom lashes side. The only way I've found to stop this happening is to apply some powder but then that settles into my fine lines. If anyone knows who to stop this I would really appreciate the help.
