It's been several months since I've written an empties post. It's not because I forgot, it's because I haven't used enough for it to be worth mentioning. You see 2 months ago I moved house and I had to throw away all my empties. I'm not one for using products up quickly so I've just been putting a collection together to blog about. So you could say this is June/July empties I guess.

Superdrug B. All Mascara review
B. isn't a brand I've heard much about. For starters it's an unusual name but this will help it stand out in this industry. I was initially attracted to it for it's ethics and natural products but now after testing it I see it truely has potential. This mascara - B. All Defining, Lengthening and Volumising Mascara - contains Lash Active which conditions lashes as you wear and is waterproof, smudge proof & tear proof.

Hump Wednesday Blog Hop #2
It's the middle of the week and I'm about to embark on the interview of my life! I'm off to Urban Decay, Debenhams at 3pm and hopefully impress the Area Manager and land myself a dream job. This Wednesday for me most certainly isn't a Hump day. I would normally be getting ready for work, eating my breakfast in front of the comp catching up on my favourite blogs. Instead I'm research the company and styling my hair. Yes my interview isn't until 3pm but a girl can never be too ready right?

A Royal Review - Seascape Island Apothecary Les Petits*
Top photo from Yahoo News
A huge congratulations to William & Kate on the birth of their baby boy. I'm not a mother myself so never been through the pain and joy of giving birth but think we should always celebrate a new life. I know so many women who can't have children and it's becoming more common. So many people I've seen tweet "Enough already" about the Royal birth but I think the Royals really bring the country together and this birth has shown that.

Makeup Swap: 2 bloggers, 2 parcels
Recently I asked around on Twitter to see who of my lovely blogger friends would be interested in a makeup swap. The criteria was simple, just 5 unused full sized items. I have so much stuff lying around without a home and was considering putting them on eBay but thought why not swap!

Seascape Island Apothecary Hand Lotion Review*
My second instalment of Seascape island apothecary my latest brand crush. An animal loving, home brewed (100% made in the UK) brand. Did I mention free WORLDWIDE delivery from HQ hair ?!
I have been trialing the HAND LOTION which has been given the perfect spot on my sink for ease of use straight after washing my hands. It claims to keep your hands smooth, soft and supple. Formulated with 100% natural essential oils of soothing Jersey lavender (a very strong smell), toning lemongrass, cleansing geranium and nourishing shea butter, this balancing lotion will invigorate and refresh your hands.
Eyes Lips Face (e.l.f) cosmetics haul
I do love a good haul. Some may say my hauls are considered on the small side but to me a haul is a haul no matter how many products you buy or where you buy them from. I am very much an online shopper now that I'm working Monday to Friday. I simply don't have the energy to go walking round the shops, battling the crowds on a Saturday, only to find the products I wanted are sold out (swearing under my breath). Or when the leggy red head reaches over my shoulder and picks up the last palette just as I'm deciding to buy (my biggest pout crossing my face).

The MUA Fashionista Palette Review
Now here's some style! This palette is sleek, shiny and packed full of YOUR OWN shades. MUA have outdone themselves this time. I love their palettes anyway, but the new FashionistA range has panache.
Step 1: Pick your palette, there are 2 options to choose from
- Fill with 4 shades for £7
- Fill with 6 shades for £10

Hump Wednesday Blog Hop
It's the middle of the week and I'm exhausted. Don't you just hate Wednesdays? It's neither the beginning nor the end of my working week and yet I feel like I've already done 5 days! I spend my Wednesday morning between 6 and 8am reading my favourite blogs, catching up on the latest posts. So I had a thought. Why not create a "Hump Wednesday Blog Hop"? I could put the post up at 8-m on a Tuesday night and keep it up throughout Wednesday. It would be a great way to find new bloggers and read some fab posts before we go to work.

Seascape island apothecary Body Wash Review*
I am so excited to talk to about my latest discovery, Seascape island apothecary! Why? Well it's not often you find products that are 100% made in the UK. Not only that but they are hugely against animal testing, something very close to my heart. Until recently I had not heard of this brand yet it has been featured in magazines such as Cosmopolitian, Vanity Fair, OK! & Natural Health to name but a few. On first appearances the packaging is modern, sleek and looks very good on my bath. I love the seahorse design and much thought has gone into the colours, even the inside of the box is a light green instead of leaving it a blank white.

1 year Blogiversary and Giveaway
This month marks 1 whole year of my blog ❤ It's actually birthday date is 31st July so I thought I'd do a fabulous giveaway now to be announced on the day :D I just want to give a little back to my readers becuase if you hadn't been reading my posts and showing me how much you love what I write via comments, follows and tweets I probably wouldn't have continued. It's YOU that spurs me to get off my butt and discover new products/brands to review. I've made so many friends locally and abroad. If I hadn't become a blogger at the age of 27 I wouldn't have found the courage to become a student again and follow my heart into the big, bad world of makeup artistry.

Makeup Academy & more makeup haul
It's been some time since I had a haul like this. I'm due to do a photoshoot to build my portfolio on Tuesday so headed into the city to buy some extras to play with. I plan on designing my own eyelashes inspired by the many works of Karla Powell MUA. Fingers crossed they turn out fabulous! My first stop was Chapelfield, Norwich and into Superdrug, boyfriend in tow. I couldn't find what I was looking for so decided to go to the other Superdrug on the street just outside. As I turned on my heels I walked smack into a display (swear it wasn't there before!) much to my boyfriends dismay. I actually cut my arm and walked out the shop at a fast pace, head low. I can be such a klutz sometimes haha thankfully I didn't send products flying (now that would have been embaressing).

New Nail Wraps by Avon review
One word describes the new nail wraps by Avon, stylish! Avon have really come up trumps this time and are bang on trend with 10 graphic and blinged nail wraps. I bought these 6 weeks before the public could get their hands on them and everyone said how beautiful my nails were. They are half price on introduction at just £4. My favourite are the Hot Pink Bling wraps as they are so pretty! There are also zebra print, racy lacy, mosaic, bows for you plus many other statement designs.
