Review: Tropic Skincare Brow Define*

Today I qualified in eye enhancement and thought it would be the perfect time to review the fabulous Brow Definer by Tropic. Yes Tropic have a makeup range! If you haven't tried it yet you will love it as much as I do. It's free from synthetic fragrances, harsh preservatives & parabens, and fortified with active botanical extracts and minerals.

Why do I love this so much? Because it's made with a semi-permanent powder. This means it will last all day.  The cute little compact has two products inside, a highlighter cream which, as you can see from my swatch test, has a slight shimmer to it. Only use this below your brows to enhance the shape and give the appearance of lift. Don't start putting it on your cheekbones unless you want a shiny, oily appearance it's just for your brow bones folks. The powder in this kit is Ochre which is the right shade for dark and light blondes. You can also purchase Taupe (red heads & blondes) and Bistre (dark brunette black haired lovelies). You can apply your brow filler with Tropics Bamboo Duel Ended Brow Brush (as pictured).

How to create a defined brow:
1. Using the angled brush end, coat it in the powder, trace underneath your brows to create a line in which to follow and shade above (Or use an eyebrow pencil).
2. You can do the same above for a more defined brow or leave unlined for a natural look.
3. Using the fluffy end fill in your brows (I carried on using the angled brush as I find it easier to stay in the line.
4. Clean your angled brush or use a blemish brush to apply the highlighter to your brow bone.

I personally prefer to use a lighter shade at the inner corners to create a more natural brow. If you don't have a lighter colour to hand you can use a matt eyeshadow. If you would like to purchase any of Tropics products you can from their website http://www.tropicskincare.com/ or from a Tropics Ambassador.
